How much does a German kitchen cost in the UK?

Both manufacturers organise their programmes into price groups. The carcase specification stays the same across price groups; what changes is the front finish (laminate, matt lacquer, gloss, veneer, ceramic, glass). Below are the ranges in each band and the typical supply-only cost for a medium to large UK kitchen.
Nobilia

Textured reproduction and matt lacquer-laminate fronts on the standard 19mm Nobilia carcase. Nobilia nBox soft-close drawers and Sensys hinges throughout. Ideal for compact galleys, first-home refurbs and smart rental refits.

The volume band. Matt lacquer, ultra-high gloss, deep-embossed wood-effect, framed shaker and honed anti-fingerprint fronts. Wider tall-unit and island options, integrated bin systems and a fuller specification of interior fittings.

Perfect matt anti-fingerprint lacquers and ultra-high gloss finishes. Wider handleless and integrated-grip options, LED plinth and shelf lighting, deeper interior organisation systems.
Ranges: Nobilia Cascada, Nordic, Sylt, Pura
Genuine painted lacquer, honed matt and shaker fronts at the top of the Nobilia programme. Frequently specified with tall unit walls, integrated appliances, BORA cooktops, Quooker taps and premium ovens.
Schüller
Ranges: Schüller Nova, Elba, Bari, Modena, Uni Gloss, Lineo, Matera, Matera Colour
Lacquer laminate and melamine reproduction slab or grip-rail fronts on the 19mm Schüller carcase. The strongest value entry into a genuine German kitchen, with 5-year cabinet and hardware warranty.

Textured, honed matt and anti-fingerprint fronts. Wider colour library, deeper drawer options and integrated LED. The band that suits most UK family kitchens.

Genuine matt and perfect-matt lacquer, patinated wood-effects and framed shaker fronts. Broader interior organisation, glass shelving and integrated lighting options.

Real lacquer, real wood veneer and specialist glass and stone fronts. Full architectural specification with tall unit walls, integrated appliances and the widest colour concept in the German market.

Every LindenHaus kitchen is ordered directly from the Nobilia factory in Verl or the Schüller factory in Herrieden and shipped through a single UK logistics operation. We are an authorised UK importer, not a third-party reseller. There is no physical showroom, no display stock write-down, and no commissioned sales floor to fund.
Against a like-for-like specification from a high-street kitchen retailer, our pricing can be up to 30% cheaper. The kitchen itself is identical: same factory, same warranty, same finishes and hardware. What changes is the route to your door.
The trade-off is that you do not stand in front of a display kitchen. In place of that, our senior designer produces CAD plans and photorealistic 3D renders of your specific layout, and door and material samples are available to order for a small charge (refundable against your order) so you can hold the real finish in your hand before you commit.

- Our entry point is a compact Schüller Nova or Nobilia Look kitchen from around £5,000 to £6,000 supply-only, inc VAT. Both are genuine German-built kitchens with 19mm carcases, Nobilia nBox drawer boxes or Blum runners, Sensys or Blum soft-close hinges and the full manufacturer warranty.
- What does £12,000 buy in a German kitchen?
- In the £10,000 to £14,000 band you can specify a mid-tier Nobilia range such as Structura, Touch, Flash or Senso, or a Schüller mid range such as Cremona, Salona, Fino Matt or Targa, in a choice of matt lacquer, high gloss, wood-effect or textured finish. Full soft-close hardware throughout, integrated bin systems and a proper interior fit-out are all included.
- How much for a premium German kitchen?
- £18,000 and up specifies premium Nobilia ranges such as Cascada, Nordic, Sylt or the lacquer Pura programme, or premium Schüller ranges such as Casa, Newport, Gala, Finca or Rocca. Genuine lacquer, honed matt, real wood veneer and specialist textures with integrated LED, glass shelving and premium interior organisation.

- A showroom kitchen carries the cost of the physical space, display stock, commissioned sales floor and often a chain of intermediaries. - Are appliances included in these prices?
- Supply-only cabinet pricing is quoted separately from appliances by convention. We supply BORA, Bosch, Siemens, Neff, Miele, Quooker and Elica alongside every kitchen at negotiated UK trade pricing. Appliance packages typically add £3,000 to £12,000 depending on specification.
- Are colour swatches and door samples free?
- Samples are available to order for a small charge (refundable against your order). We would rather send you a genuine door and material sample than post a printed swatch card that misrepresents the finish.
