Cremona is Schueller's entry into framed shaker territory, and it takes an unusual approach. Rather than a painted smooth door, it is a painted framed front with a synchronised pore woodgrain texture, so the surface carries the open grain of timber underneath the paint finish. That texture is what stops a shaker front looking like a moulded panel, and it is normally something you only get on far more expensive programmes.
It is offered in a single finish, a Sand Oak effect, and the single option makes sense once you see it. The colour is a soft, warm greyed sand that behaves as a neutral in almost any British interior, and the pore texture gives it enough character that it does not need supporting from a second colour. It is at its best in transitional kitchens, the sort where a classic door shape is wanted but the room is otherwise contemporary, with a quartz worktop and integrated appliances rather than a range cooker and plate racks.
Cremona is available in both handled and handleless configurations, which is genuinely rare for a shaker front. A handleless framed door sounds like a contradiction but works surprisingly well, giving you the shadow line and proportion of a classic kitchen with an uninterrupted run of doors. If you prefer the traditional route, knobs and cup handles suit the profile.
