Schüller pricing, organised by price group.
Schüller price groups run from 1 (lowest) upwards. The carcase specification does not change between them - the 19mm body, Blum soft-close hardware and 5-year warranty are standard across the programme. What changes is the front finish, and with it the cost of every matching panel, plinth and cornice.
Ranges: Nova, Elba, Bari, Modena, Uni Gloss, Lineo, Matera, Matera Colour
Lacquer laminate and melamine reproduction slab or grip-rail fronts on the 19mm Schüller carcase. The strongest value entry into a genuine German kitchen, with the full 5-year cabinet and hardware warranty.
Ranges: Cremona, Varese, Salona, Fino Matt, Targa, Avola
Textured, honed matt and anti-fingerprint fronts, a wider colour library, deeper drawer options and integrated LED. The band that suits most UK family kitchens.
Ranges: Siena, Alea Matt, Biella, Vicenza, Canto, Cameo
Genuine matt and satin lacquer, patinated wood-effects and framed shaker fronts, with broader interior organisation, glass shelving and integrated lighting.
Ranges: Classic Matt, Newport, Casa, Gala, SmartGlas, Finca, Rocca
Real lacquer, real wood veneer and specialist glass and stone fronts, specified architecturally with tall unit walls and integrated appliances, using the widest colour concept in the German market.
Matching panel finishes affect the total more than people expect
A kitchen is not only doors. End panels, island cladding, plinths, cornices, pelmets and tall unit returns are all visible, and on a properly specified Schüller kitchen they are ordered in the same finish as the fronts so colour, sheen and texture read as one material.
Take Vicenza. It is a satin lacquer front, so for a perfect match the plinths, end panels and cornices should also be satin lacquer - which means they are produced and priced in the same higher group as the doors. On an island-led layout with tall unit walls, that matching panelwork is a real share of the cabinet total rather than a rounding error.
There is a cheaper route. Several Vicenza colours (and colours across other lacquer programmes) can also be produced as a more basic laminate panel and plinth in a close colour match. That lowers the price noticeably, at the cost of a perfect texture match to the doors. In a low-sheen colour, on concealed plinths or on runs away from the light, most people never notice. On an island end panel with daylight raking across it, the difference in surface texture between laminate and satin lacquer is visible.
Our recommendation is to specify matching lacquer panels where the eye lands - island ends, tall unit returns, peninsula backs, anything at eye level - and consider laminate on concealed plinths and low-visibility runs. We cost both options separately on your quote so you can see exactly what the perfect match is worth to you.
What actually moves the number
Front finish and price group
The dominant lever. The same layout moved from a laminate front to a satin lacquer or veneer front can add 30% to 50% to the cabinet cost.
Matching panels, plinths and cornices
Set out in detail below. Lacquer programmes carry lacquer panelwork, and that panelwork is priced in the door's group.
Colour concept choices
Schüller's colour concept lets you specify a bespoke colour across doors and panels. It is a striking result and it prices above a standard-palette colour.
Cabinet count and layout
Tall unit walls, larders and island runs cost more per metre than base and wall runs, and islands add end panels and worktop overhang.
Worktops
Laminate is the value option; quartz, ceramic and full-height splashbacks or waterfall ends add materially once templated.
Appliances
Quoted separately. Bosch, Siemens, Neff, Miele, BORA, Elica and Quooker packages typically add £3,000 to £12,000.
Why our Schüller pricing sits below showroom pricing
LindenHaus orders directly from Schüller in Herrieden as an authorised UK importer and ships through a single UK logistics operation. No display stock, no commissioned sales floor, so a like-for-like specification can be up to 30% cheaper than a high-street quotation for the same factory, finishes, hardware and warranty.
Instead of a showroom you get CAD plans and photorealistic 3D renders of your own layout from a senior designer, plus real door and material samples to order for a small charge, refundable against your order.
Schüller cost questions
- How much does a Schüller kitchen cost in the UK?
- A compact Schüller kitchen in Price Group 1 - Nova, Elba, Bari, Modena, Uni Gloss, Lineo, Matera - typically lands between £5,000 and £8,000 supply-only, inc VAT. A medium to large family kitchen in the mid groups (Cremona, Varese, Salona, Fino Matt, Targa, Avola) usually sits between £8,000 and £12,000. Premium programmes such as Casa, Newport, Gala, SmartGlas, Finca and Rocca run from £15,000 upwards. Worktops and appliances are quoted separately.
- Are Schüller kitchens expensive?
- Schüller sits in the upper half of the German market for finish quality, but not for price when bought correctly. Every kitchen uses the same 19mm carcase, Blum soft-close hardware and 5-year warranty regardless of price group. Ordered factory-direct through LindenHaus rather than through a showroom, a like-for-like Schüller specification can be up to 30% cheaper.
- What do Schüller price groups mean?
- Schüller programmes are banded from Price Group 1 (lowest) up to the high single figures (highest). The cabinet, drawer boxes and hinges stay the same across the whole programme. The price group reflects the front: lacquer laminate and melamine reproduction fronts sit lowest, honed matt and anti-fingerprint fronts sit mid, and satin lacquer, real veneer, glass and stone fronts sit at the top.
- Do matching panels and plinths add much to a Schüller kitchen?
- Yes, and on lacquer programmes it is the line most quotes underestimate. Vicenza, for example, is a satin lacquer front, so its plinths, end panels and cornices should also be ordered in satin lacquer for a perfect texture and sheen match - which prices them in the same group as the doors. Some Vicenza colours are also available as a more basic laminate panel, which lowers the cost but will not match the lacquer texture exactly.
- How long does a Schüller kitchen take to arrive?
- Typical lead time from order confirmation to UK delivery is 6 to 8 weeks. Our delivery guide sets out the full timeline.
- Can I see a Schüller door before I order?
- Yes. Door and material samples can be ordered for a small charge, refundable against your order, so you can judge the real satin, matt or veneer surface in your own light.
