Flash is Nobilia's high-gloss lacquer laminate front, and it exists for one job: bouncing light around a room that does not have enough of it. In a narrow galley, a basement conversion or a north-facing extension, a gloss front will make the space feel materially larger than the same layout in matt, because the doors reflect both daylight and artificial light back into the room instead of absorbing it.
Programme 648 keeps the palette deliberately tight with three colours: White High Gloss (450), Ivory High Gloss (452) and Satin Grey High Gloss (455). That restraint is sensible. Gloss is already a strong visual statement, and a strong colour in a strong finish rarely ages well. White is the brightest and the most common UK specification, Ivory takes the edge off in rooms with warm lighting or timber flooring, and Satin Grey works as the darker element in a two-tone scheme without going heavy.
The practical caveat with any gloss kitchen is fingerprints, and it is worth being honest about it. A gloss front shows marks more readily than a matt one, particularly around handle areas and the doors either side of a hob. Two things help: specify handles or grip rails rather than push-to-open so hands land on hardware rather than the door face, and keep gloss to wall and tall units while running a matt or timber front at base level where the traffic is. Beyond that, a gloss laminate is very easy to clean, non-porous and unaffected by steam.
