Novalux is Nobilia's genuine lacquer high-gloss programme, which is a meaningful distinction. Rather than a gloss foil or acrylic sheet applied to a board, the door is lacquered all round including the edges, and finished with a slim 1.8 mm edge radius. The result is a door with no visible edge banding line and a consistent reflection across the face and the profile, which is what separates a properly lacquered gloss kitchen from a budget one.
Four colours are offered under programme 115: White (512), Alpine White (516), Taupe Grey (513) and Satin Grey (519). White and Alpine White differ subtly, with Alpine White reading cooler and cleaner against white walls, and White carrying slightly more warmth. Taupe Grey is the interesting one for UK homes, giving a gloss kitchen that does not feel clinical, particularly against oak flooring or a warm quartz worktop.
Gloss earns its place in rooms that need light. A north-facing kitchen, a galley, a basement conversion or a side-return extension all benefit from the way a lacquered gloss front pushes daylight back into the space. Novalux is available in both handled and handleless configurations, so it can be specified with a grip rail for a seamless architectural look or with slim bar handles for a more conventional finish. Cabinets are rigid built and delivered fully assembled, typically 8 to 12 weeks from order, with free UK mainland delivery and a 10 year guarantee.
