Typical order-to-delivery time on a Nobilia or Schüller kitchen through LindenHaus is 6 to 8 weeks. Below is the full timeline, what happens at each step, and answers to the delivery questions we get most from UK buyers.

Design & specification
You share layout and measurements. Senior designer produces CAD, 3D renders and an itemised quote. Iterative until sign-off, typically 1 to 3 weeks.

Order placed with Germany
On deposit, we place the order with Nobilia (Verl) or Schüller (Herrieden). You receive an order confirmation with a scheduled ex-factory date.

German factory build
4 to 5 weeks of build-to-order manufacturing. Cabinets, doors, worktops and interior fittings are made specifically for your kitchen. Nothing is drawn from stock.

Consolidated freight to UK
Once complete, your kitchen ships with other UK-bound orders on a scheduled weekly consolidated container. Transit takes 7 to 10 days including customs clearance.

UK delivery window booked
Our UK logistics partner books a two-hour delivery slot with you. You get a call 30 minutes ahead. Cabinets delivered fully assembled to ground floor.

Fit & install
Your fitter installs from the labelled cabinet plan and installation drawings. Any post-install support handled through LindenHaus for the life of the warranty.
- How long does a German kitchen take to arrive in the UK?
- Typical order-to-delivery time is 6 to 8 weeks. The German factory builds every kitchen to order (approximately 4 to 5 weeks in production), then 1 to 2 weeks in transit through consolidated freight, then a scheduled UK delivery window.
- Do you deliver to my postcode?
- Yes. LindenHaus delivers to the whole of mainland UK from one national logistics operation. Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland are supported with a modest supplementary carriage charge quoted at the design stage.
- Is the kitchen delivered assembled?
- German kitchen cabinets are shipped fully factory-assembled, not flat-packed. Each unit arrives as a complete rigid carcase with hinges, drawer boxes and interior fittings pre-installed. This is one of the reasons German cabinets stay square long-term.
- Can you hold delivery until I am ready?
- Yes. Once your kitchen is manufactured we can hold it in bonded storage for up to 6 weeks free of charge, which is helpful if plastering, flooring or building work overruns.
- Do you install the kitchen?
- LindenHaus is supply-only by design, which is what keeps our pricing up to 30% cheaper than showroom pricing. We work alongside your chosen fitter and provide detailed installation drawings; if you do not have a fitter we can recommend vetted German-kitchen-experienced installers in most UK regions.
- What happens on delivery day?
- You receive a two-hour delivery window and a call 30 minutes ahead. Cabinets are delivered to a ground-floor room of your choice; the crew are equipped for kerbside delivery only unless a two-person carry-in service is booked in advance.
