Casa is a warm country painted front in satin lacquer with a subtle wood pore texture, available in all 28 Colour Concept shades at price group 6 in handled or handleless configurations. The pore texture is what separates it from the plain painted programmes: the grain of the timber substrate remains readable beneath the paint, so the surface has the slight irregularity of a joinery-made door rather than the perfect flatness of a factory front.

That single detail changes how the kitchen sits in an older building. In a farmhouse, a barn conversion or a rural cottage, a perfectly flat painted door tends to look imported into the room, however good the colour is.
